I was hired to create the logo back in 2013. CBS kept the logo/mark after acquiring it in 2016, which is nice! The concept is straightforward - a compass vibe. While designing this, my inner child came out - I was a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout. The “merit badge” was my inspiration. I also helped them with the masthead of their first print magazine.

Scout Media is an integrated sports publishing company that produces Internet content covering hundreds of professional and college teams across America.] In 2013, Fox Sports sold Scout to North American Membership Group, which later rebranded to Scout Media. In December 2016, and was then acquired by CBS in February 2017 for $9.5 million.”
